Twitter. While Democrats may try to rewrite history, we all still remember the chants to defund police officers. We were subject to a year of anti-police protests and riots. They torched police stations and Democrats marched in support of the “Defund the Police” movement. We will never forget the complicity shown by the Democrat party. We will not forget that police officers are now dying at an increasing rate in America under President Biden. RELATED STORY Rasmussen Poll shows that Americans reject more gun control. Police officers are dying under the Biden Administration. Democrats love the phrase “words are violence” and they show it daily by whipping their constituents. Anyone who pays attention will see that the left is the true violent front. Take a look at Democrat run cities. They are becoming violent dystopias. What is the Democrat response to this? Blame police and guns. Biden issued a statement almost one year ago condemning police. In the same statement, he said: “This year, we also acknowledge that in many communities, especially Black, there is a deep distrust towards law enforcement; distrust that has been exacerbated recently by the deaths of several Black or brown people at law enforcement’s hands. “These deaths have caused a profound fear and trauma, pain and exhaustion among many Black and Brown Americans, and the resulting breakdown of trust between law enforcement, the communities they have sworn protect and serve ultimately makes officers’ jobs harder and more dangerous.” But is it really surprising that Biden continues to promote this kind rhetoric? He did so after pledging to George Floyd during his campaign. This statement came just 100 days after he said that he would establish a national oversight commission for police. Not Very Self-Aware Despite all their talk about violence in words, Democrats aren’t short of violent speech. These are some of the gems that were shared in the lead up to 2020. Kamala Harris, 2018. “During the campaign, we met often with members of Black Lives Matter. This loosely knit group was able to educate the nation that the police were not there to protect the people but to intimidate them in many black communities. “And time and again, tragically cell phone cameras were recording horrific instances of extreme police brutality and the taking of innocent life by overly aggressive police actions. “Until we get policing out of the shadow of systemic racist, whatever this incident teaches us,” – Pete Buttigieg. You get the idea. The entire Democrat primaries was an anti-police sideshow. Personally, I don’t believe words are violence. I was raised in the “sticks, stones may break my bones but words will not hurt me” era. I do believe that a sitting government can influence the temperature of a nation. This can lead to a reactive mob mentality. Real Life Consequences According Breitbart News, Scott Pelley (60 Minutes host) reported that there was a 59 per cent increase in the murders of police officers in 2021 with 73 officers being killed. This is quite a dramatic increase. It’s almost as if something got people excited. It’s almost like someone got people all riled up. The FBI Director Christopher Wray said to CBS News 60 Minutes that violence against law enforcement in the country is one of most significant phenomena that doesn’t get enough attention. “Last year, officers were being murdered at a rate of almost 1 in 5 days,” think about that. Growing up, we were taught to respect law enforcement. Criminals are now so empowered that they target them and kill them. Regularly. It is evident that criminals are so afraid of law enforcement that they will murder them. How do they feel about civilians? While Democrats are willing to take a knee for violent criminals they want to disarm law-abiding firearm owners. Who else would like to see law-abiding gun owners disarmed? Criminals. I am just thankful that more police officers aren’t leaving the job yet. They are right, and who could blame them? Get the Personal Defense World newsletter today and stay in the loop! Some people prefer a small, […] backup.
