The Premier Body Armor Home Shield
The Home Shield is made of polyethylene sourced domestically and offers durability rated at duty. The shield can be used multiple times in the event of sustained engagement. The shield is only 5mm thick, which is thinner than an iPhone. It weighs 3.8 pounds and is lightweight.
The Home Shield measures 15×18 inches and covers the majority of the upper torso for a man of average size. The back has a large duty rated handle to provide a secure grip. It also features an adjustable strap that allows for a snug and universal fit. The shield is designed with angled corners and trimmed edges to make it easy to manipulate a handgun.

The Home Shield offers Level IIIA protection against 9mm,.357 mag,.357 sig,.44 mag, and 12-gauge shotsgun rounds. If you need protection from rifle rounds, Premier Body Armor offers the Stratis PRO Level III+.
The Stratis Pro is slightly thicker and heavier, but offers more protection against 7.62×39 and 7.62x51M80. The Stratis pro is designed for law-enforcement, executive protection and locations where active shooter threat exists. It would also be a good choice for home protection in high-risk areas.
