The shocking reality of Taliban fighters invading Afghanistan led to the fall and evacuation of the U.S Embassy. President Joe Biden was willing leave billions of dollars worth of high-tech weapons to the Taliban, but is determined to take away the God-given rights of law-abiding Americans to keep and bear arms.

Gun Control is President’s Crime Approach Rinse. Lather. Repeat.

U.S. Arms fall into Taliban hands

One media outlet called the Taliban seizure U.S. weapons the “motherlode.” The United States provided the equipment to Afghanistan’s National Army. These included mine-resistant vehicles, unmanned aircraft vehicles, and Humvees. One report said that the seizure U.S.-supplied guns was “enormous”. Taliban fighters exchanged worn AK-47s with U.S.-made M-4s or M-16s.

Another report stated that fighters had seized small arms containers, with one instance containing approximately 900 guns. Reporters were told by Taliban commanders that they had new weapons that could be used in battle.

The photos showed Taliban forces with near-new M-4 rifles topped by thermal imagers. These images were taken just days before Taliban forces freed Al Qaeda prisoners as they entered Kabul.

‘Nobody Needs That …’

These arms are in the hands and control of the Taliban. Al Qaeda must take over. Already reports have emerged that Taliban fighters are assembling weapons from Afghans.

“We are aware that people keep weapons for their own safety. They can now feel secure. “We are not here to harm innocent civilians,” a Taliban official said to Reuters.

This is eerily similar in tone to the rhetoric that President Biden has been telling Americans.

“There is no reason anyone should have a weapon of war that has 100 rounds and 100 bullets. They can be fired from that weapon. “Nobody needs that, nobody requires that,” President Biden stated from the White House Rose Garden on April. The same claim was repeated in his February tweets, during his presidential campaign and back to his time as vice president.

Later, he ridiculed gun owners who claimed they needed firearms to protect themselves against a dictatorial government. Biden stated that they would need jet fighters, and made a vague reference to nuclear weapons being used against U.S. citizens.

President Biden appointed David Chipman to lead the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives. Chipman mocked gun buyers, and proposed to ban the Modern Sporting Rifle (“MSR”), which he calls an “assault weapon,” but couldn’t define it for senators. All the cards for gun control are still to be played. Biden may be looking to increase gun control and do so on an international stage.

Global Gun Control

The Seventh Conference of the United Nations Arms Trade Treaty is scheduled to meet in Geneva at the beginning of the month. This is the same group that John Kerry, then Secretary of State, signed into a treaty in 2013 which would have made U.S. gun manufacturing and ownership subject to international supervision. The U.S. Senate did not ratify the treaty.

In 2019, President Donald Trump declared, “We’re taking back our signature.” This officially ended U.S. involvement with the United Nations’ meddling in U.S. firearm manufacture and the rights of American citizens to own guns. The decision was praised by the NSSF.

All eyes are on the Biden administration and the moves it makes to subjugate God’s given rights, which are protected by the Constitution to international gun control. Biden has made it clear that he intends to take away America’s gun rights. However, his respect for international arms controls is questionable. It extends from the notorious and illegal Operation Fast and Furious gun walking scheme that he was vice president. This operation sent untraced guns over the U.S.-Mexico border. They were used by cartels to kill Brian Terry, a U.S Border Patrol agent.

From Benghazi, to Kabul

It wasn’t the first time. The botched Benghazi operation, which left four people dead, including the U.S. Vice President Biden, occurred under his watch. Ambassador Chris Stevens was involved in illegal weapons trafficking. The Obama National Security Council declined to allow the U.S. House of Representatives Oversight Committee to investigate information about covert weapons trafficking in Libyan rebels. Later, the Obama administration’s Department of Justice dropped charges against an arms dealer in connection with the scheme. Biden now leaves billions of dollars in military weapons in the hands terrorists.

This is the pattern for President Biden. He has been responsible for bungled operations that have put guns in the hands of America’s enemies. He still calls the firearm industry “the enemy” and disparages it as such. This is the same industry that gives law-abiding Americans the ability to exercise their Second Amendment rights. It also provides the tools for law enforcement to keep communities secure and small arms for the military to protect America.

President Biden’s gun policies make Americans more vulnerable and empower America’s enemies.
