It features a 7075 T6 aluminum frame. The optic is protected from drops, impacts, as well as dirt and moisture. The company’s “SuperLED” and multi-reticle systems are also featured on the sight. Shake Awake technology makes sure the reticle is ready for you when you need it, while Solar FailSafe keeps it running. The HE509 is the only enclosed reflex sight to offer Primary Arms’ patented ACSS Vulcan reticle technology. The ACSS Vulcan has a 10 MOA chevron aiming point and is surrounded by an outer circle. The circle’s edge is visible when the aim moves away from the target. This visual indicator shows the user where the center aiming point lies, and helps them return to the center. The circle will not be visible if the optic is centered at arm’s length. If you don’t use the circle, you can prolong the battery life by closing it.
