It’s wonderful to have online access to load data for your cartridges. You can get load data quickly for a specific powder and bullet weight. There are times, however, when we prefer to consult printed/bound load guides. The main reason is that bullet and tool makers will include powder data in their manuals for a specific cartridge. You can save time and effort by using a single source. If you wanted to find 6.5 Creedmoor powder loads using H4350 from Hodgdon, Reloder 16 from Alliant, and N150 from Vihtavuori, you would need to visit the websites of three different powder makers, one after the other. You can also buy a modern load guide and have everything at your fingertips. There are many printed load manuals available. We have used the Berger Manuals, Sierra Manuals, Nosler Manuals, Lyman Manuals, and Hornady Manuals. We like the Berger, Sierra, Nosler, and Hornady manuals when it comes to match rifle cartridges and hunting loads. Over the years, Lyman Reloading manuals have been praised.”Every other reloading guide I’ve used prefers their bullets to every other manufacturer. Lyman gives you an honest view of the many different… manufacturers. [Lyman] has a lot of reloading information on any bullet type you can think of. I’ve tested a variety of their recipes, and they’re all perfect.
