The vise’s base features an articulating ball-and-socket joint with the Speed Cam Lever. This adjusts the pressure on the joint and allows the vise and gun position in any direction the user wishes. For heavy torque applications, an additional Torq-Lok Pin is available. This pin can be removed and inserted between the socket joint and ball to lock it into the base. The vise can be set in either a vertical or horizontal orientation so that the locking pin can be inserted at 90 degrees. The ball joint allows you to adjust the jaws at different angles to make your work easier. You can tilt your gun so that it is muzzle-down. This makes cleaning easier. See the video above. The Master Gun Vise includes an Accu-Level leveling knob. This allows the vise tilt to 3 degrees on either side (6? Total) to make micro-adjustments for leveling guns for optics mounting. This precise leveling can be done without the firearm having to be repositioned in the clamps. The vise comes with Gun-Fit sleeves, which can be installed or removed with pins that lock them in. The one side has a high-density foam pad that provides a tight fit for cosmetic surfaces.
