It’s wonderful to be able access online load data to your cartridges. It’s easy to find load data for specific powders and bullet weights online. There are times when we prefer to refer to old-fashioned printed/bound loads manuals. Bullet- and tool-makers will include information for powders from multiple manufacturers in manuals. This is the main reason. A single source can help you save time and hassle. If you want to find 6.5 Creedmoor loads using Reloder 16 and H4350 (Hodgdon), you’d have to visit three powder-maker websites one after the other. OR, you can get a load manual that contains all the information you need and locate everything in one place.
There are many great printed load manuals available. We have used the Berger Manual and Sierra Manual, Speer Manuals, Lyman Manuals, Hornady Manuals, and Speer Manuals. The Sierra and Berger manuals are great for match rifle cartridges. We also like the Lyman, Hornady and Hornady manuals to hunt loads and pistol cartridges. Unfortunately, the Sierra Manual in binder format is currently back-ordered. If you have the opportunity, get one.
Lyman Reloading Manuals are highly praised. “Every other reloading manual I’ve used favors their bullets over all other manufacturers. Lyman gives you an accurate representation of many different… manufacturers. Lyman has a lot of data about reloading bullet styles. I have tried many of their recipes, and all were perfect. It is amazing to see the breadth of information in this book. RangetoReal.com reviews.
