Forum member Erik Cortina created a series YouTube videos about precision hand-loading and reloading hardware. Here is Erik’s video review on the Forster Cox(R) reloading machine. The unique design and operation of the red-framed Co-Ax are both remarkable. It has dual guide rods and a handle at the center. It doesn’t require you to screw in dies. Instead, slide the die lock ring into a slot. This allows dies floating during operation. Erik does a great job of explaining the unique features of the Co-Ax. He shows you how to slide the dies in the press at 1:00. It’s simple and quick. Erik demonstrates how sliding jaws hold the case rim (rather that a conventional shell-holder) at the two-minute mark. The jaws open when the ram is raised and close when it is lowered. Erik demonstrates how primers are pushed down into a cup. This clever system keeps your bench and press area free of primer residues and debris. Many Co-Ax users manually prime their cases, but the Co-Ax can do it very accurately. The press has a priming station. Erik demonstrates the priming process starting at 4:20. Smart Accessories for the Co-Ax by Inline Fabrications
Forum member Kevin Thomas also owns an Inline Fabrication Co-Ax press. He has hot-roded it with accessories from Inline Fabrication. Kevin tells us that Inline Fabrication has a variety of add-ons for the Co-Ax. I love the results of my riser mount and linkages. They are curved. These links allow for a larger work area and make it easier to feed the press. CLICK HERE for Co-Ax Accessories.Inline Fabrications Forster Co-Ax Accessories Forster Co-Ax Curved Side Linkage
