The.45-70 Govt models have been the main focus, but the Marlin Model 336 Classic has brought.30-30 Winchester back to the forefront. All metal parts are richly bluened, and the stock and forend are made from checkered American walnut. The new Ruger-made Model 336 has a gold trigger, just like the original Marlin model. It also features adjustable semi-buckhorn sights, a standard-sized lever loop, and a soft rubber recoil pad. The rifle has a push button, cross-bolt manual safety and swing swivel-studs on the stock and forend.
