September 23rd 2021 SCI Convention Returns to Las Vegas in 2022
Safari Club International celebrates 50 Years of fighting for the freedom to hunt. In 2022, the International Hunters’ Convention will return to Las Vegas. The Convention will be held at Mandalay Hotel from January 19-22, 2022. This convention is the largest in the world and is expected to attract thousands of people. The convention seminars will cover all aspects of hunting, fishing and shooting, as well as outdoor adventure. More than 1000 exhibitors will be present at the convention, including gun-makers, optics companies and gear manufacturers, outfitters, top hunting resorts, and outfitters. Outdoor industry companies will display the latest products, including firearms and accessories, ammunition, archery, gear, and equipment. Furs, jewelry, furnishings, as well as outdoor clothing are all available. SCI auctions feature exclusive firearms, rare hunts and adventures, fine art, and fine firearms. SCI Foundation’s education and conservation programs are supported by the proceeds of SCI’s auctions. SCI was established in 1971 and will celebrate its 50th anniversary at Mandalay Bay Resort in Las Vegas on January 19, 22 and 23, 2022. The Mandalay Bay Convention Center will host exhibits and other daytime activities. Mandalay Bay, a luxury resort and casino with 43 stories on the Las Vegas Strip, will be the host hotel. This year’s guest speakers include Tucker Carlson, Donald Trump Jr., and other prominent pro-hunting political voices. Other special guests include Edward Byers and Jim Shockey. W. Laird Hamberlin (SCI CEO) said, “We are happy to be able to return the SCI Convention to Las Vegas in 2022.” “We know that our members and exhibitors will enjoy being a part [of this special event].” This year, we will be celebrating 50 Years of SCI defending freedom to hunt with the convention that will not soon forget.
