Safariland’s new SCR, or Safariland Chest Rig is a chest holster mounting platform that works with 7TS and 6000 series holsters. The SCR, or Safariland Chosen Rig, is a new chest-based mounting platform that’s compatible with Safariland 6000, 7TS series holsters. It’s also compatible with Safariland 7TS series holsters. This allows these models to be worn as traditional holsters, or on the chest with this new rig. The SCR is versatile because it is quick and easy to swap between holsters. A holster’s cant is also adjustable once it has been attached. The plastic bits are made of injection-molded TPE and can be adjusted one-handed. The SCR’s quick attachment buckle can be operated one-handed and all plastic bits are made from injection-molded TPE for durability and flexibility. It is only currently available in a right-handed configuration. Target grids and bullseye sizes can be downloaded in MOA. This is a great option for long-range shooting.
