Ultimate Reloader also tested several brake bore clearances on a rifle 6.5 Creedmoor: 0.010?, 0.030?, 0.050?, 0.050 (bare muzzle), and 0.050 (bare bullet). Over bullet diameter, 0.020, 0.030, 0.050, 0.050, 0.100, and 0.200?. The tightest fitting bullet was expected to produce the greatest recoil reduction. Surprisingly this was not the case.
