The Alabama Arsenal YouTube Channel, with over 340 videos related to shooting, is a valuable resource. This channel offers detailed field tests on tactical-type rifles and ARs. The testers had access to some impressive ranges and many of the test are more thorough than what you would find in most gun magazines or YouTube channels. Alabama Arsenal (AA), for example, has a series 1000+ round pistol tests videos. These videos are worth watching if your are thinking about purchasing a defensive handgun. We have a variety of videos today, covering two centerfire rifles and three precision rimfire rifles. You’ll find a technical video that investigates the effects of suppressors on muzzle velocity after these field test videos. Barrett MRAD.300PRC at 2200Yards — Extreme Long Range This rugged tactical rifle is put to the extreme long range test. This video features a Barrett MRAD chambered in.300 PRC and accuracy testing up to 2200 yards (1.25miles). The drone footage shows the long route to the target. The shooter noted the bullets fired by his.300 PRC “go below subsonic between 1800 and 190 yards”, creating ballistics challenges. Savage 110 Elite Precision PRS Production Class This video shows the Savage Elite Precision Rifle with MDT Accuracy Chassis. This rifle retails for around $1810.00 for 6mm Creedmoor and is a good option for PRS or NRL competition. The video starts at 3:10 and shows all the adjustments on the MDC ACC Chassis. Guns America Digest reviewed this rifle in full and was very impressed. Rimfire.22 LR Bergara B-14R with WOOX Furiosa Hybrid chassis Alabama Arsenal recently tested a.22 LR Bergara B-14R rimfire gun fitted with the WOOX Furiosa Hybrid chassis system. This Italian-made product features wood sections over a sturdy aluminum core chassis. The B-14R’s bolt and ergonomics are very similar to those of a Remington 700, making it a good rifle for cross-training in rimfire. The B14R model that was tested had a carbon-wrapped bar. The WOOX Furiosa chassis is a unique, innovative aftermarket replacement. This high-tech hybrid chassis/stock combines wood sections with a full-length aerospace-grade aluminum skeleton, giving it both the “feel” and the stability of a metal frame. The smooth wood cheekpiece and the way the stock feels in the trigger hand are also nice. The Furiosa, made in Italy, is available in three versions, all of which have wood sections on the grip area, forearm and cheekpiece. Choose from natural Walnut Brown or Micarta Black. Alabama Arsenal tested the Micarta Black version of a B14R. Below are photos of centerfire rifles in a WOOX Furiosa chassis with Brown Walnut elements.

The test compares a CZ457 with a Manners composite chassis to a CZ457 version with a Varmint Precision aluminium chassis. CZ 457 rifles are currently priced at $540.00. Varmint Precision models cost $930 for metal chassis and $1130 for Manners composite carbon-fiber stock.
