Here’s a new product that hunters and PRS/NRL shooters will appreciate. American Defense Manufacturing has created a scope ring unit with a Picatinny Rail on the front ring. This allows you to mount a range of devices above your scope such as a compact Laser Rangefinder. This is available in a 34mm size, but “in a couple of weeks” it will be available in a 30mm size. This unit is only compatible with ADM scope mountings. We expect other manufacturers to offer something similar with other ring types. The innovative ADM Ring Cap Unit, officially called the AD-Delta Scope Mount Ring Cap – Picatinny Rail costs $120.00.
ADM posts: We are now offering alternate rings caps for the Delta Series Mounts with picatinny Rails to accommodate the ever-growing use of accessories and rangefinders. The 5-Lug version (Low-Red Dot), can be used to mount either a Red Dot sight or a low profile laser. The 5-Lug version (Low-Red Dot), can be used to mount either a Red Dot laser sight or a low-profile laser. The 7-Lug can be used with laser rangefinders like the Vortex Impact 4000. The 7-Lug version is currently available only in 34mm. A 30mm version will soon be available. The ADM Ring Cap includes 1 replacement ringcap and 4 mounting screws.”
This ring cap is ONLY compatible with ADM Delta Series Mounts. It is NOT compatible other manufacturers’ scope mountings. ADM also cannot guarantee compatibility in height with all optics, as turret sizes vary between different brands and models. All versions are priced at $120.00.
