Shooting USA Today: Camp Perry Bullseye Pistol Shooting

March 30, 2022Today, today, March 30, 2022. Shooting USA TV shows bullseye pistol competition at Camp Perry. Each summer, nearly 1,000 competitors can shoot traditional bullseye pistols at Camp Perry as part of the CMP National Championships. The Camp Perry pistol matches are held at 25 and 50 yards. The shooting position is one-handed firing in slow fire, timed fire and rapid fire. You can stream the show on Vimeo for $0.99 each episode if you miss the regular broadcast.
Camp Perry is the home of one of the most prestigious and historic annual trophy matches in American history. In a venue known for its service rifle matches, precision pistol is just as important, challenging, and respected. The National Trophy Pistol Matches revolves around traditional handgunning: the stance, intense concentration, and, of course, the one handed grip. It’s as obvious as the game Bullseye Pistol. Each year, there are 24 match trophies awarded to the top Bullseye Pistol shooters (military and civilian). The President’s 100 Tab will be awarded to the top shooters who claim National Match Trophies. The 2021 National Matches include multiple pistol competitions including a Centerfire Pistol-900 Aggregate, an.45 Pistol-900 Aggregate, as well as a CMP Revolver Match.
