New optics and accessories for shooting are also on display. On 1/16/23, hundreds of journalists and other members of the gun industry visited the Boulder City gun range in Nevada to test a variety of new firearms. There were many new products on display, including new rifles, pistols and optics. The conditions at the range this year were quite brutal. It was cold and there were strong winds of 20+ mph. Despite the wind chill, most of the shooting was done within 50 yards. However, it was more difficult to hit the longer range targets on the upper rifle bay.
