Pistol: Beretta 80X CheetahMany conceal carriers are hesitant to carry.380 ACP. But this little pistol may change their minds. The Beretta 80X Cheetah, a modernized version of the classic Model 84 Beretta, brings the concept into 21st-century. The Beretta 80X Cheetah is unchanged in size from its predecessor. However, it now has an optics-ready slide and an accessory rail. It also features a frame-mounted safety/decocker, updated grip angle, and a frame-mounted safety/decocker. It might just win you over.Rifle – Bond Arms Lever Action AR-15Bond Arms surprised everyone at their booth with this surprising tactical lever-action design. Although lever-action AR hybrids were tried before, they often had problems feeding rounds from full magazines that contained more than 5 or 10 rounds. Bond Arms’ new model addresses this issue with a revolutionary lever system that doesn’t require great strength to feed rounds from larger mags. It can use standard AR uppers and Remington 870 patterns stocks. Standard uppers allow the system to fire more than 5.56 NATO. Bond Arms expects to have the new gun available by next year at a MSRP of approximately $1,500. Many companies are offering chassis rifles that are based on the Remington 700 action, but Aero’s is our favorite. The company will be selling the Aero Precision chassis, standalone actions, barreled and barreled actions separately. The new Beretta A3 Ultima Patrol is a versatile rifle that can be customized to your needs. It is an American-made semiauto 12-gauge shotgun with enough tactical flair that it can compete with well-known defensive shotguns such as the Benelli M4, and it costs less than $1,099. The shotgun comes in a variety of finishes, including gray and tiger stripes. Holosun’s new thermal and night vision sights were among the most impressive at SHOT Show 2023. These optics are smaller, lighter, and more affordable than other low-light optics. They can also function as standard reflex sights like the Holosun AEMS. However, when the front lens covers are closed they provide thermal or night vision overlay through your viewing window. Holosun promises a “Pro” model with night vision and thermal capabilities via a modular sensor unit. Although MSRPs aren’t fixed, the DRS-NV is expected to cost around $1,000. The new 12-gauge suppressors from JK Armament stood out at SHOT Show 2023. The JK 195 VersaX SGX and JK 195 SGX 12-gauge suppressors can be prohibitively expensive and have many issues when suppressing shotguns. The suppressors’ new round baffles keep shot cup plastic from slicing off at a cost of $599 and $899 respectively. This little trick ensures normal flight paths and prevents internal plastic buildup. It also greatly reduces wear. JK Armament offers very affordable barrel threading services. This means that even grandpa could have his old pump-action outfitted with one these 12-gauge cans. Both models can be modified, but the VersaX comes with 8 configurable baffles, while the SGX has 14.Ammo: PSA Steel CaseEversince the Russian ammo ban was made public, many shooters have wondered where the next steady supply will come from. If all goes well, it is likely that the source of cheap ammunition will be Palmetto State Armory. Since long, it has been known that PSA’s parent company JJE had procured machining from an unknown European country to produce steel-cased ammunition in common Soviet calibers. Some samples of ammo were on display at SHOT Show 202.3.62x39mm, 7.62x54r, and 5.45x39mm. All were packaged in boxes bearing the Soviet Arms logo that is responsible for some other Combloc products. If the new factory is able to bring ammo to market at a comparable price and quality as Tula, AK enthusiasts will be able continue shooting like they always have. Although there aren’t many situations where the FDC/FDP would be more useful than a standard handgun equipped with a light, the FDC/FDP folds into a compact rectangular shape with a carry handle that is too rare to ignore. The pistol parts will be manufactured by ZEV Technologies, while the plastic components by Magpul will be made. The companies hope to have it available by next year. After nearly ten years of development, the American Sturmgewehr clone from Hill & Mac Gunworks finally is a reality. Although the development was slow and messy as is the case with small-scale reproductions like this, Palmetto State Armory acquired the project. If anyone has the capital and production capabilities to bring this gun to the market, it’s PSA. The company’s SHOT Show booth 2023 displayed a fully functioning model. The PSA version will be available in the same sizes as the original promise by HMG. It will also come in.300 BLK, 8.mm Kurz, and 7.62x39mm. Access to Russian-made Zenitco furniture was cut off for American AK enthusiasts. Many were willing to spend a lot of money for Zenitco furniture, but Midwest Industries just released the Alpha Series. It is a much better option than the Russian-made versions, and it comes at a lower price. The handguards and optics mountings are specific to AK-pattern rifles. However, the new stock attaches via Picatinny and can be used with any firearm with the appropriate hardware. Target grids and bullseye sizes can be downloaded in MOA. This is a great option for long-range shooting. Enter your email address below.
