Why should its optics be different? SIG Sauer Electro-Optics has announced its mission-ready ROMEO2 mil-spec red dot sight. The ROMEO2 mil-spec reflex scope is made of 7075-aluminum and comes with two steel shrouds that can be used for three different optic configurations. There are two options: fully enclosed or sealed. The ROMEO2 can also fit any SIG pistol slide that has the PRO slide cut. It can also fit other slides that are compatible with the DeltaPoint Pro red dotsight. The molded glass aspheric lens has a high-performance coating that provides superior light transmission and zero distortion. The selectable circle dots reticle can be ordered in three MOA, six MOA or ten MOA sizes with 1.0 MOA increments. The ROMEO2 uses D.A.R.C. to offer 12 settings for daylight brightness and 3 night vision settings. D.A.R.C. technology is used to achieve perfect reticle brightness and target clarity when using a Gen3+ night-vision device. The ROMEO2 uses MOTAC and MAGNETAC to prevent accidental battery drain. This turns the optic off when it is holstered and on when it is drawn. It also includes a spring-loaded side battery tray in case of low battery life. You can replace the battery without having to remove the sight. The battery’s 25,000-hour life means that it won’t need to be changed often. The ROMEO2’s 7075-aluminum shell and ruggedized steel shrouds combined with an IPX7 waterproof rating means it can withstand harsh environments.
