SilencerCo Announces SCO15 AR Upper Receiver

After the earlier release the SCO15 lower, it is now possible to assemble complete SilencerCo Ar-15 builds using the new SCO15 higher. They didn’t stop there, though, as they have a lot of manufacturing capabilities. SilencerCo’s entry into the AR-15 receiver market began with the release earlier this year of the SCO15 lower receiver. The lower received a few upgrades, but the rest was pretty standard. It also featured some SilencerCo flair. The new SCO15 lower allows complete AR-15 receivers to be assembled using only SilencerCo parts. It is precision machined from billet 7075 aluminum just like the lower and has all the standard features that shooters expect from an AR-15 upper. Picatinny rail is standard on the receiver’s flattop. Internally, it has M4 feed ramps to allow compatibility with modern barrels. It can also be used with standard AR dust covers, forward assist handles, and charging handles. The new SCO15 upper promises to match the SCO15 lower aesthetically better than any other on the market. Although both components are essentially the same, SilencerCo has made some changes to them. The SilencerCo receivers are more futuristic-looking and angular than those used in mil-spec ARs. The SilencerCo receivers stand out without being too flashy. If you already own a SilencerCo lower it may be worth purchasing a SCO15 higher to match it. Storm Tactical’s impressive target pack includes 62 printable targets.
