Updated 7/11/23What are the best Sig Sauer pistols for concealed carry?P365 XLP225A1 Nitron CompactP365 380P938SASP320 Nitron Compact1911 Nightmare CarryAmong world’s most historic gunmakers, Sig Sauer produced some classic pistols. Early on, the pistols were not conducive to concealment. Sig Sauer pistols have made their mark as sidearms for law enforcement and militaries around the world. But that doesn’t imply they’re only for those who are willing to carry a lot of weight. There are a number of Sig Sauer concealed carry pistols that are both easy to carry and live up the company’s sterling reputation. Here are six of Sig Sauer’s best factory new pistols to keep an eye out for. P365 XLP365 XLTTo say the P365 struck a chord with the shooting public would be like saying the Titanic hit a piece ice. The introduction of the micro-compact 9mm in 2018 set the carry world ablaze. Why not? Raise Your Sig Sauer IQThe striker-fired pistol is priced at $599, which is a price that’s competitive and breaks away from Sig’s usual premium pricing. The gunmaker did not skimp on the quality of the gun, which is why it looks, feels and shoots to Sig’s standards. What really stands out is the P365’s XL capacity, which is almost on par with service models. Few other micro-9s offer the same firepower as the Sig P365 XL with its 12+1 flush-fit mag. The P365 is a slim and light gun (around 1 inch). It weighs between 17 and 20 ounces. Carry-wise, the XL model’s extra bulk might be worth it. The pistol is only.7 inches taller than the original P365. It has a full 15+1 capacity and a grip which is more conducive to accuracy and handling. P225-A1 Compact NitronP225A1For a very long time, Sig Sauer pistols were not competitive in the concealed carry market. The metal-heavy catalog of Sig Sauer pistols was viewed as only suitable for duty, whether it be military, law enforcement, or otherwise. This is not entirely true. The P225 is a testimony to this. Swinging from holsters in the mid-1970s was the single-stack 8+1 DA/SA, which gave shooters all they wanted from a Sig: reliability, rock-solid design, metal. It did this without requiring them to carry around the Rock of Gibraltar. The 9mm is still available today, and the P225-A1 offers a ‘Mama Bear” option for those with large hands. It’s also a good shot because of its weight, even on its double action trigger pull. This is especially true for a pistol with a 3.6 inch barrel. The P225-A1 has a relatively low profile, with a width of 1.26 inches and 5.2 inches in height. It’s also pretty darn dashing. The only problem is that the P225A1 has been discontinued by Sig and used models can cost upwards of $1,000. Some allowances aren’t able to handle that. But for those who lay their hard-earned cash on the counter, they usually don’t regret the purchase.P365-380There isn’t much to say about this pistol that we didn’t already cover when discussing the P365 XL. The P365-380, on the other hand, is a standard P365 chambered in.380 ACP. If you like the 9x19mm but prefer something with less recoil, then this is a great option. It is compatible with standard P365 accessories and fits in standard P365 holsters. Other notable features include night sights, an accessory rail, and a slide that can be equipped with optics. Its MSRP is $499.99 which makes it more affordable than 9mm versions. P938 SASP938 SASThose who want a more demure carry gun but don’t wish to compromise on power will find the 9mm P938 SAS a good option. It operates just like the P238, a 1911, with a single-action trigger, thumb safety and so on. It’s made of stainless steel and aluminum, so you can be sure it will withstand rough treatment. The pistol is also available in a variety of styles and carry options to suit the preferences of any shooter. For those who want to arm themselves, the P938 SAS is the best choice. It has all sharp edges rounded off for a smooth draw. The micro 9mm in two-tone is a beautiful gun, even though it is usually hidden. P320 CompactP320 CompactOne the best modern carry guns available, the P320 offers a lot of flexibility. The Sig Sauer pistol is modular in design and can change frame sizes and barrels with a simple switch of the trigger. You can choose from a compact to a full size option. If you’re a newcomer to the P320 Nitron Compact, it is a great choice. You can choose between 9mm or.45 ACP. The striker-fired line is also very competitively priced. Street prices for the line average just over $500. The company has said that it has addressed the issue of drop safety in early versions of the P320. If you are looking at the P320 resale market, it is best to ask if the trigger has been upgraded. The 1911 is a good example. Over the years the company has earned a reputation for producing some of the finest 1911s available. Fastback Nightmare is the best option for concealed carry. The Sig Sauer pistol looks wicked, but it is optimized for the least noticeable carry. Fastback, the rounded rear butt, not only reduces the printing but also allows for a more intuitive and comfortable grip. Sig did not stop there. The Fastback Nightmare is equipped with aggressive Houge G10 Double-Dimond Grip, Sig Night Sights, and a sweet trigger pull. The Nightmare weighs 38 ounces and is 1.4 inches wide. It’s a heavy 1911 at 38 ounces and feels like a competition gun. The Fastback Nightmare is a great 1911, and it’s priced at $1,429, which is comparable to many of the most established brands. The Fastback Nightmare is a great 1911, and it’s priced at $1,429, which is comparable to many other well-known brands.
