Zeus, the Greek god, ruler, protector and father of all gods, descends in 1911 form. Zeus is part of the Gods of Olympus Engravers Series. He follows the Poseidon. The limited-edition Zeus custom 1911 by SK Arms will also be a collector’s item. There are only 200 of them.

The SK Arms Gods of Olympus Engraver Series Zeus Custom 1911
Smith & Wesson has approved the Gods of Olympus Engraver Series, which builds on the full-size 1911 E-Series (.45ACP). The slide, frame, grip and scroll feature a cloud-engraved scroll that immortalizes some of Zeus’ absolute powers. His rule over the weather and sky is thus represented. The artwork on the sides of this slide depicts Zeus directing lightning and thunder, rain, strong winds, and other elements. Zeus is depicted in 24 KT Gold-Plating, while his companion Eagle (Aetos Dios), features copper-plating.
The slide’s obverse displays Aegis, Zeus’ shield and primary protection. The shield features the head of Gorgon, Medusa’s sister, and makes a foreboding sound during battle.
The cloud theme is also highlighted by the custom forward and rear slide serrations. The bull, which Zeus transformed into many times, is depicted just behind the rear serrations. The reverse side also features Aetos Dios, an eagle with a number plate that indicates the issue number from 200.
A proprietary conversion coating creates a highly reflective Sky blue background to the copper-plated artwork. This furthers the sky theme. The frame flats are also finished in satin. A new Novak front sight featuring authentic Yellow Diamond center set at the center, riding atop the slide, embodies the grandeur and glory of Zeus.
The interface between steel and man features pearl grips with Greek key meander grip art and Pearl grips. One side shows Zeus sitting on his throne while the other shows Mount Olympus. To highlight the filled engraving on grips, the hardware includes nickel plating and 24 KT Gold.

The Zeus is limited to 200 pieces and comes with a commemorative 1-oz high relief silver coin. The coin features Zeus on the one side and Athena at the reverse. The coin also includes the observe marks of Athens Bank of Greece and the year of production.
