SK Customs brings the Tale of Pancho Villa to life with this LE 1911

SK Customs is not afraid to use dramatic representations of historical figures to embellish limited-edition 1911s. Its extensive collection of custom-themed firearms is sufficient to make collectors pay attention. The Pancho Villa, which SK Customs has made in honor of the Mexican Revolutionary, is an example.

The SK Customs “La Revolucion” Pancho Villa 1911

The “La Revolucion” series, which consists of a series limited-edition 1911s, tells the story about the Mexican Revolution over ten years. The visual storytelling was started on a canvas made of beautiful polished, blued steel. Selective silver and gold plating completed the picture. The piece’s exquisite styling is completed by gold- and silver-plated hardware. The high-quality aesthetics are further enhanced by the addition of new Kirinite style grips that feature gold peso Medallions.

The slide’s left side is decorated with Cannas floral scrolls that frame a dramatic illustration showing Pancho Villa riding on horseback into battle. The Monument to the Revolution in Mexico City is also behind the rear cocking serations.

The general’s Army, Division del Norte is standing just forward of Villa holding a banner. The banner bears Villa’s famous phrase, “Fusilenlo Despues Averiguamos”, which is translated to “Shoot he, we’ll discover later.”

Right side of slide has “REVOLUTION” in gold-plated letters just below the ejection port. Another Pancho Villa depiction, ridden fearlessly into battle by Pancho Villa, is surrounded by more Cannas floral scroll.

The theme is further enhanced by a scroll that includes the phrase “El Centauro del Norte”, which is translated as “The Centaur of the North”. The coat of arms Free of Sovereign State Durango emblem, with the edition number of 300 below, is located just behind the rear-cocking serrations.

The slide’s top features include an accentuated portrait by Francisco Pancho Villa. The portrait is titled “1878-1923 Centenario”, which marks the 100th anniversary of his passing. Villa’s bandolier is loaded with.30-30 cartridges and rides high above the ejection port. The coat of arms of Mexico (1899 – 1917) is located forward of the rear sight.

The Pancho Villa will be limited to 300 Colt 1911s in full-size, chambered with.38 Super.
