Spray-On Case Lube – Save Money

August 19, 2021
Are you tired of paying $15-$25 for spray lube that doesn’t last as long? A single 10 oz. bottle will cost you about the same as a can. You can make your own spray lube to lube thousands of cases and last multiple seasons.
Gavin Gear, UltimateReloader.com’s friend, shows you how to make your case lube with simple, inexpensive ingredients. This Liquid Lanolin + Isopropyl Alchohol mixture is a great option and very affordable, as recommended by the 6.5 guys. This home-brewed Lanolin case lube can be made in a pint. It will lubricate thousands of cases, much more than a typical aerosol spray can that’s mostly compressed air.
Gavin tells us that he ordered the same components as the spray bottles per the instructions of 65guys and they worked great.
1. Swan Isopropyl Alcohol 99%, Pint (16 Ounces (2-pack) Home Health Liquid Lanolin, 4 Ounce
3. Chemical Guys ACC_121.16HD-3PK Chem. Resistant Heavy Duty Bottle/Sprayer (16oz.

Gavin explains the exact mixing process on his Ultimate Reloader site. Gavin states that this lube mixture is a great complement to the Hornady 1-Shot (pistol), and Dillon DCL(rifle), lubes he’s used for rifle and pistol reloading sessions. CLICK HERE for more information.
