Springfield Armory just announced that they have added two 9mm Garrison 1911 models to their Garrison 1911 line. The pistols were first released in.45 ACP in 2021. Since then, the pistols have been well-respected as a solid 1911 option. Although.45 ACP is the best choice for a classic 1911, many of its fans have begun to embrace the 9mm platform. Springfield just announced the 9mm Garrison 1911. This 1911 is designed for shooters who are not comfortable with.45 ACP. Both 9mm Garrison models are available in a hot-blued carbon-steel finish or a stainless steel finish. They both have 5-inch barrels with 9-round magazines. Both 9mm Garrison models come with 5-inch barrels and 9-round magazines.
