The thumb-index recesses are ambidextrous and provide comfort for both left- and right-handed shooters. The STR-9F’s ambidextrous operation is enhanced by the ability to release magazines from either the left or right side. A three-slot Picatinny rail permits the addition of lights or optics.
The STR-9F is chambered in 9mm and has a precision barrel of 4.68 inches. The striker-fired pistol has a trigger safety and is fed by a double-stack magazine with 17 rounds. For those who reside in states that have low magazine count requirements, a 10-round magazine may be available.
