Along with the original.22 LR Summit, and a.17 mach 2 variant, Volquartsen also offers a Summit.17 WMR and Summit.22 LR. We believe the.17 HMR would be a great choice for ground squirrels or small varmints within 250 yards. These new.17 HMR &.22WMR offerings will be available with stainless steel or lightweight aluminum configurations. They will also have a variety of barrel and stock options. All configurations feature a 2.25-pound pull on the trigger, a 0 MOA integral Picatinny Rail, and a 9 round magazine. There will be both 1/2 x 28 threaded and non-threaded barrels available. “When we began manufacturing the Summit in.22 LR we knew this caliber was just the beginning of what could be done with the straight-pull toggling bolt design. “We applied what we learned when refining the Summit 22 LR, and knew that it would be perfect for a.22 HMR and.17 HMR versions,” said Volquartsen president Scott Volquartsen.
