22Plinkster is the owner of some of the most popular YouTube channels devoted to guns. His videos are watched by hundreds and thousands of firearms enthusiasts. 22Plinkster has a lot of videos that involve tricks shots, like shooting a.22LR into 100 balloons. He also does reviews. He is a skilled marksman and has shot a large collection of.22 LR/22WMR pistols and rimfire rifles. This makes him a qualified rimfire specialist (as a well as a showman and trick-shot artist). Today we feature five 22Plinkster videos, plus a bonus Vudoo Gun Works review from GunsandTactics.com. Vudoo Gun Works Rifle Ravage Precision.22LR Last Sunday, we featured a NRL22 competition rig that was built using a Vudoo Gun Works V-22. This Sunday GunDay article features a complete Vudoo gun, a magazine-fed Ravage with Ridgeback stocks. 22Plinkster said: “It is a Tack Driver… This.22 LR Bolt-Action Rimfire Rifle I have ever shot.” He also noted that he had shot Anschutz, Lithgow, and other quality rifles. 22Plinkster fired from a Lead Sled at 50 yards and produced a group of 0.335″ at 50 yards with Lapua Midas+ ammo (4:00 mark). This session then gets really impressive. This Vudoo Ravage, using Lapua’s Midas+ ammunition, produced a group of less than half an inch at 100 yards*. The video shows the Midas+ group forming from 7:20 until 8:25. He then used ELEY Tenex ammunition to produce a 0.707″ group (10:30), and a smaller group (11;55). The S&W Model 41 rimfire pistol is a classic American target pistol. The Model 41 is beautifully crafted and boasts a superb grip, a comfortable trigger, and excellent accuracy. A Model 41, whether new or used, would make a great addition to any firearms’ collection. Volquartsen Scorpion.22 LR Pistol Test The Scorpion showed exceptional accuracy when held by 22Plinkster. It has a large target style grip. The Scorpion has a compensator built in, which keeps the muzzle on target. The comp can easily be replaced with a suppressor. (See video, 3:00 mark). S&W Victory Vs. Ruger Model IV Pistol Test 22Plinkster liked them both. He preferred the Ruger’s grips, but the S&W trigger was his favorite. He thought the iron sights of the Ruger were the best for precision work. However, he felt that the green dots fiber optic sights of the S&W Victory were better for speed work. *Footnote about 22Plinkster Measured groups: At least one group (in close-up) does not show the exact group that formed in the preceding sequence. You can tell by the shot placements in relation to the center of target that it is a different group. We still believe that 22Plinkster shot very small groups at 50 and 100 yard ranges with this rifle. We think 22Plinkster may have edited the video out of order. You can tell that the group shown in the live video is not the same group as the one measured with calipers.
