April 25th 2023After decades of being held at Kelbly’s Range, Ohio, the Super Shoot Benchrest competition will take place May 22-25,2023 at the Bench Rest Rifle Club, Missouri. This is a fantastic location that is highly favored by benchrest shooters. This range hosted the 2022 NBRSA Nationals. (Photo above). This will be Super Shoot 49. The Super Shoot is the largest 100/200 yard Benchrest score match ever held in the world. It attracts over 200 competitors. The Super Shoot has been hosted at Kelbly’s Range, in Ohio, for the last 40+years. This year, the Super Shoot will take place at the Bench Rest Rifle Club in Wright City, located just northwest of St. Louis. This event will feature some of the best benchrest shooters from around the world. The competition will be fierce. Top places are often decided by the smallest margins in Agg measurements. Membership is free. By becoming a Member, you will gain access to the online registration for 49th Super Shoot as well as other features. It is free to become a member of the site, but there are fees to compete at the Super Shoot in 2023. Check-in and registration in person begins on May 19th. Practice will be available from Friday, May 19, through Sunday, may 21. The range closes at 4:00 pm on the Sunday. The competition will begin on Monday, 22 May 2023. The St. Louis Bench Rest Rifle Club, as forum member Alex M. stated: “The St. Louis Bench Rest Rifle Club has the finest shooting range I have ever seen.” The different rifle, pistol and shotgun ranges, as well as the archery ranges, are excellent. They have a nice trap field with manually operated traps. I shoot pistols and rifles with my wife from 25 to 600 yards. They have a dedicated rimfire range and training bays. I shoot their monthly F Class matches (600 yards), where they award medals (1st 2nd 3rd) in F-Open, F T/R and F Bench.
