Taurus Announces the GX4XL and GX4XL T.O.R.O.

Taurus just announced the GX4XL. This is an enlarged version of GX4 that is available in both standard and optics-ready configurations. Taurus is working on an enlarged version its 9mm compact carry gun. The GX4XL is now available, with a longer barrel, slide, and the option to launch an optics-ready version or a standard version at launch. A similar concept to the Sig P365XL’s, the Taurus GX4XL has a slightly longer barrel, slide, and the same magazine capacity as the compact model. Taurus stresses that the GX4XL barrel measures 3.7 inches, which is 0.64 inches longer than the GX4’s. The change will allow for greater muzzle velocity and more power down range. No matter which model you choose, each will come with an 11-round flush-fit magazine as well as an extended 13-round mag. For states with limited capacity, 10-round magazines are available. The standard GX4XL model retails at $429 while the optics-ready model retails at $459. Both are now available. Target grids and bullseye sizes can be downloaded in MOA.
