No matter what your opinion is on belly bands, you can’t deny that they are useful, especially during the summer. Running shorts and yoga pants for women are lighter clothes that don’t offer much support for concealed carrying. This is where a bellyband, such as the Core-Defender by Elite Survival Systems comes in. It can hold two pistols and extra magazines, as well as accessories.
The Elite Survival Systems Core Defender Belly Band
The Core-Defender, which is made of latex-free orthopedic ergonomic elastic is hypoallergenic and suitable for those who are allergic to latex. There is less worry about your concealed carrying method causing problems while wearing it. The 4-inch elastic provides ample support and stability to your firearms and accessories.
The Core-Defender is a compact holster with two sections that allow for strong-side or cross-draw draw. If you prefer, however, you can carry a first-line gun on the strong-side and a backup pistol in cross-draw. The holster section can hold small to large semi-autos and small- to medium frame revolvers.
The belly band has three additional compartments in addition to the dual holsters. You can also carry accessories such as a flashlight or knife. The dual elastic design also creates openings all around the belt where you can place other items with a belt clip.
Core-Defender belly bands are available in black or tan. With the low MSRP you can get both colors and still remain undetected. The belly band comes in six different sizes to ensure the perfect fit for every user.
X-Small – 24”-27”
Small – 28″‘-32″‘
Medium – 33”-36”
Large – 37″‘-40″‘
X-Large – 41”-45”
XX-Large – 46”-50”
Editor’s Note:
Belly bands can be used to conceal a weapon during the warmer months, when clothing is not suitable for a holster. Carrying anything heavier than a small-frame pistol can make it feel heavy. You should also consider carrying extra magazines or accessories.
If you plan to carry a larger pistol and accessories, it is advisable to reinforce the frame. Suspenders can be used to hold it in place. If you are carrying less weight, your hips will be enough to hold it in place.
