But, I like functional art as much as the next guy. This is especially true when they are as well-shot as the Treasurer. The Nighthawk Custom Treasurer. This fourth installment of the Boardroom Series 1911 family is the Treasurer. It looks just like what you would expect the CEO should carry. The Treasurer is built on an officer frame and features a 9mm chamber with a 3.8-inch Gold Titanium Nitride crowned bull barrel. The barrel is placed in a DLC-finished slide that features heavy angle cuts and forward windows to expose the barrel. A Heinie Black Ledge rear view is mounted on the slide, along with a front sight featuring a 14kt gold bead. The grips have matching 25 LPI checkering at the front and back straps. Railscales also offers custom Ascend grips that ensure a positive purchase and better retention during firing. The one-piece mainspring housing/magwell allows for quick, easy reloads. The Treasurer’s 8-round, single-stack magazine keeps it slim for concealed carry. The Treasurer is also completely dehorned to make it easy to carry.
