The Compact and Pro models both have a 14.5-inch threaded bar that can accept choke tubes and other accessories. The Standard model has a 18.5-inch threaded bar. The SP-12 shotgun is truly ambidextrous, with controls that can be accessed from either direction. The bottom of the receiver allows shells to be fed and ejected simultaneously. Standard models include an AR-style adjustable stock that allows for a variable length pull for each shooter. The Compact and Pro models, on the other hand, use the birds head grip to make maneuvering in tight spaces easier. The ATF has classified the Pro and Compact models as “other”. Both the Standard and Compact models have a full-length Picatinny Rail for mounting lights, optics, or other accessories. They also have M-LOK mounts at the sides and an additional bottom Picatinny Rail at the end. The Pro model has a smaller four-slot bottom Picatinny Rail at the barrel’s end. Each model can accept 1 3/4-inch, 2 3/4-inch, and 3-inch shells. You can also mix and match any combination of these three sizes. Eight rounds are possible when loading all 1 1/4-inch shells, and five+1 when loading 2 3/4-inch shells.
