Volquartsen had released the 22 LR EVN critter gitter at the start of the year. The company didn’t stop there. Volquartsen released the ENV-HMR in.17 HMR Rimfire to increase the firepower and energy. The ENV-HMR is a great choice for small game hunting, eradicating pests, and target shooting.
The Volquartsen ENV – HMR.17 HMR Pistol
The 22 LR ENV is built using the ODIN Chassis System of ENOCH. However, the ENV – HMR is built from the DEEP SIX Chassis System, which is ODIN’s larger brother. The ENV-HMR is 2.5 inches longer and has a wider barrel chamber.
Although slightly heavier than its predecessor the Type 3 Hard Anodized receiver is still a light 4 pounds 5 ounces. A single QD sling attachment can be found on either side to allow for single-point slings.
The receiver’s top has an integral 0 MOA Picatinny rail that allows for attachment of optics and accessories. M-Lok slots located at the 3, 6, 9 and 9 o’clock positions on the handguard allow for additional accessory and optic compatibility. An included Slate Stop handstop is located under the handguard.
Rounds are delivered to target via the TG2000 trigger system, which is CNC-machined out of an aluminum billet. The trigger group allows users to adjust for pretravel and/or overtravel. Users can dial it in to their preference. The lightweight barrel measures 9 inches and is threaded 1/2×28 for adding a suppressor/compensator.
The ENV-HMR can be ordered with or without an SB Tactical arms brace. It ships with the Magpul MOEK grip. The ENV-HMR includes all current AR-15 attachment standards for those who want to personalize their experience.
