Top 10 lever guns of all time — Do you agree with this list?

Winchester Model 1894/94 Like all “Top 10” lists, this one will be controversial. This list will be controversial. Where is the Winchester 1866 “Yellowboy”, a favorite of Native Americans,? Where is the Winchester 1895 model, the iconic gun Teddy Roosevelt referred to as “Big Medicine” and the most beloved of all Winchester models? Other choices are also hard to fault. The Henry Rifle is a must-have on this list. It was the first lever gun to be popularly used for cartridges. RifleShooter claims that the Winchester Model 94 was the most popular sporting rifle in the USA. Does this list make sense or did RifleShooter magazine make a mistake? The NRA Museum has two lever-action rifles that belonged to President Theodore Roosevelt. The first is a Winchester model 1886 rifle, also known as the “tennis match gun” because Roosevelt bought it with winnings from a match of tennis. Below is a Winchester model 1894 suppressed rifle. Roosevelt used this gun to shoot varmints in Oyster bay (Long Island NY) so as not to disturb his neighbors, the Tiffany and Du Pont Families.
