The Giraud Triway Trimmer can be powered by a handheld hand drill, drill press or other dedicated rotating power source. The tool indexes from the shoulder of your cases. However, the blade adjusts so that the cartridge overall length (COAL), can be controlled with precision. The Tri Way tool is made of 6061-T6 aluminum, 303 stainless steel and should last a lifetime. This tool is not universal. The Tri Way is for a single cartridge or “related” cartridges that have similar body dimensions. You will need a tool that is specific to each cartridge family. The.308 Win tool can also be used to trim.243 Win and.260 Rem cartridges, respectively.
