There are many clubs and groups that cater to Jeep enthusiasts. They are not known for their secure storage space. Tuffy has announced its Underseat Lockbox to fit the Jeep Gladiator. RELATED STORY: The Ford F-150 console safe is the latest vehicle safe from Tuffy Security. The Tuffy Underseat Lockbox fits 2020 and 2022 Jeep Gladiator models. It measures 6.25″ Lx12.75″ Wx 5″ H. This lockbox has 400 cubic inches of storage space for a pistol or other valuables. The design can also fit under the rear seat, within an OEM plastic fence. To access the contents of the lockbox, simply flip the driver’s rear seat forward. The lockbox is made of 1/8-inch thick welded steel components and protected by Tuffy’s Pry-Guard Security System. To prevent unauthorized access, the system includes a double-bedded security lock that can hold 10 tumblers. The lockbox has a durable, textured black powder coated finish that resists corrosion. It also features a weather-resistant lid with an exclusive Pin Lock hinging system that provides additional security. The lockbox can be installed quickly and easily with standard hand tools, no drilling required. It attaches to the existing OEM Jeep Gladiator mounting points with the provided hardware and follows the easy-to-follow instructions.
