Two guns were stolen from Rep Karen Bass, a California Congresswoman and Los Angeles Mayoral Candidate, during a break-in. It’s unclear if this is a political stunt, but it’s not good. Her anti-gun message is not well-received and the optics are not very appealing to me.
Anti-Gun for You, Pro-Gun for Her Rep. Karen Bass Has Two Firearms Stolen
Two guns were stolen from Karen Bass, House Foreign Affairs Committee Chair. Ironically, this happened just months after Bass claimed she felt “10 of 10” safe walking around LA. Ironically, she said it during a debate against Rick Caruso, and then promised to crackdown on crime.
That’s up to the voters of Los Angeles. We’re referring to a robbery. Two firearms were taken from an anti-gun candidate. That’s irony.
Fox News reports that Bass stated in a statement that “Last Night, I returned home to find that my house was broken into and had been burglarized.” LAPD was called and I appreciate their help. It appears that only two firearms were stolen, despite them being safe and secure. Cash, electronics, and other valuables were not stolen. It’s unnerving, and it’s something Angelenos have had to deal with far too often.”
This begs the question: how could they have been stolen from a secure storage? The thieves did not take any other valuables. Only the guns. They should have been very difficult to steal, comparatively. Instead, grab the easy stuff. Or, at the very least, grab it.

It also makes one wonder what Bass was doing while carrying two guns. Bass voted against the Second Amendment and gun freedoms during her time in federal government. Every. Single. Time.
According to the Los Angeles Times, “[Bass communications Director, Sarah] Leonard Sheahan stated that the weapons were legally registered handguns, and that Bass never applied for a permit to carry a firearm.”
Add to that the fact she has never applied for a permit to carry guns and the fact she wants to repeal the stand-your-ground laws, what are you left? What’s the point of having two firearms? What kind of firearms did they have? Why won’t she tell us? Were they “assault arms”? We don’t know.
The New York Post has a statement that might clarify things. “Bass reportedly learned how weapons are handled in the 1970s when she was a leader of the Venceremos Brigade, which stood in solidarity with Cuban revolutionaries. The LAPD accused her of going to Cuba to learn guerrilla warfare.
Oh, right. She is a radical activist who has used guns to get her goals in the past. Got it.
Was this a political stunt? Is this a sign of something? I’m waiting for her legislation to confiscate all guns, because “secure storage does not work.”
The suspects were apprehended by the Los Angeles Police Department, and the guns were returned. They don’t fit the stereotype Democrats love to make scapegoats of, so this story will be remembered in 3…2…1…

This is a reminder to all the people of Los Angeles that there is still time to fix this in November. You already know the damage that Democrat policies have caused in your city. Try something bold.
What is the worst thing that could happen? There are already spiraling crime, rampant homelessness and feces-ridden streets. Representatives think they should be able to protect their constituents, but not you.
Keep in mind that if you do the same thing as you have always done, you will always get what it is.
