Vaultek Lifepod Protects Your Gear Even in the Harshest Environments

Adventure is waiting around every corner. Some adventures are more difficult than others due to unexpected conditions. Vaultek has developed the rugged, waterproof, lockable Lifepod X, the little brother of the original Lifepod. Vaultek Lifepod X Secure The Lifepod X, constructed of non-metal T3 Polymer, is tough enough to withstand any activity or environment. The side compression latch is combined with an inner rubber seal to seal the safe against harsh conditions. The airtight safe is water resistant and dustproof. It floats on water, and the company has tested it for durability. The safe has an interior tray with interior straps that allows you to secure loose objects within the safe. Its compact size protects a smartphone, cash and passports, a medical kit, and small belongings. The interior lid has a series slots to organize smaller items. The Lifepod X is small enough to fit into a vehicle, backpack or luggage (it’s TSA approved). The included carabiner will allow you to attach the Lifepod X to any object for added travel options. Remember to only attach it if you are confident that the item will not break. A 24-inch steel cable is also provided to help you secure it to an item that will not be stolen. The integrated lock system incorporates Vaultek’s precision-engineered safe design and anti-impact latch. The Lifepod X is accessible via a backlit capacitive LED keypad once it has been closed and locked. It is opened by a 4-digit master code. The Lifepod X is powered by a single AA-sized battery that can last up to a year. If the battery fails, a rubber cover with a keyhole allows access to the hidden micro-USB connector. The port can be used for powering the case, so you can open and change the batteries. Editor’s Note: It is important to note that the smaller interior space of the Lifepod X does not allow for most concealed carry guns. It’s unlikely to fit unless you plan to carry a Derringer, NAA revolver or small pocket.380. It is too small for most sub-compact guns. It is still a useful item in a shooter’s loadout. It’s still ideal for a medkit, additional magazines, or other shooting-related items. The company still offers the original Lifepod which has the exact same features and construction but is larger. The original should fit most smaller concealed carry guns like the Springfield Hellcat Pro. (Photo by Vaultek). Availability The Vaultek lifepod X is now available with an MSRP price of $79.99.
