The single-action trigger sends the rounds downrange through the signature keyhole muzzle. The magazine disconnect has been eliminated so the trigger works cleanly and crisply. FN also improved the ergonomics of the firearm and added texturing to the frame and grip for more control during fire. The extended beavertail addresses “High Power Hammer and Slide Bite” as well as the original. The original design’s long-arm slide release is also familiar to many. The slide release and other controls of the new High Power are now ambidextrous for both right- and left-handed shooters. FN has simplified the process of disassembling the original High Power pistol and created a simpler method for cleaning. The new High Power can be disassembled by simply turning the takedown lever. This will instantly strip the pistol of its contents. You can customize your High Power in three different colors. Two pairs of polymer grips are included with each pistol. There are seven grip options. Driftable steel sights provide a natural point-of-aiming for each shooter.
