Viridian Weapon Tech, which first announced the RFX45 closed-emitter green dot at this year’s show, will release it in a few weeks. The optic uses the Aimpoint ACRO footprint and is designed for pistols, but it has a robust design that can be used for rifles. The RFX45 also uses a green dot for better visibility to the human eye. The Viridian RFX45 closed emitter green dot optic is constructed from aircraft-grade aluminum 6061 and features a shock resistant design. It can therefore withstand the recoil of even the strongest handguns. The IPX6 waterproof rating, along with the hard coat anodization, ensures solid performance in harsh environments. The lens has an anti-reflective surface and a closed emitter. This provides a bright, clear sight picture. The 5 MOA green dots reticle is highly visible in a variety of lighting conditions. The reticle also has ten brightness levels, with eight visible settings and two night-vision settings. This allows for fast and accurate acquisition of targets. The optic’s user-friendly design allows for simple adjustments to windage, elevation, and an overall adjustment range 90 MOA. The RFX45 can run for up to 50,000 minutes on a single CR2032. It has an INSTANT ON function and an automatic shut off feature to help preserve the battery. The RFX45 comes with an Aimpoint ACRO compatible mount that allows you to mount the device on a pistol or a rifle platform. Viridian offers a variety of adapters and mounts that can be purchased separately or as a kit. The RFX45 package also includes the tools needed to install it.
