I couldn’t care more about celebrities extolling their greatness to each other. I get tired of hearing the spoiled elites say how horrible they think we are and how much America hates them. It seems that the elites are becoming more unhinged each day. It’s not surprising that people who live in fantasies every day would be unable to relate to reality. It almost seems like they become more violent the more they speak up against violence. Alec Baldwin is a great example. He advocates for gun control but makes a movie about guns and then shoots someone. He is still free to make another movie, as many predicted. Will Smith didn’t shoot anyone. But what does this say about high society? A man can attack another man live on TV, then sit down to watch the rest of the program. He won an award. If this had been me or you, we would have spent the night behind bars and received a date to court. Rock joked about Smith’s wife Jada appearing on G.I. Jane 2. Smith then walked up to Rock and slapped him. Rock was able to take the slap standing, and then he announced the next Oscar winner. Breitbart News reports that the LAPD won’t be pressing charges against Chris Rock, who declined to file a report. According to the report, “LAPD investigative agencies are aware of an incident between 2 individuals during Academy Awards program. One person slapped another. The person involved has declined to file an investigative report. The LAPD will provide an investigative report if the party involved wishes to file a police report. The Fallout While no charges will be filed at this time, The Academy, actors and directors are calling out Smith’s actions. The Academy sent a snarky tweet condemning the attack and then promoted the show. However, Smith could still lose his Oscar, according to The New York Post. Although Smith is not mentioned in the story, insiders believe he will be asked for it back. According to the story, “One Hollywood source said that Smith was assaulted after the incident.” Everyone was so shocked in that room, it was so uncomfortable.” Many celebrities took to Twitter to express their disgust at Smith’s actions. Kathy Griffin, comedian, had some words to say about violence and comedy. Yes, that’s right. Kathy Griffin, who once held the severed head President Trump’s, is now pointing out violence of others. Let me tell ya something, it’s very bad to walk up on stage and assault a Comedian.

Smith could have to deal with the consequences for days. Smith is one of the most beautiful people I know. This is not going to have any lasting effects. The consequences are not for the faint-hearted. It Could have been avoided. We will never know if it was real or fake. It almost feels like a publicity stunt to promote a failing awards show. The backlash feels real. They are all actors so it is possible to guess what the backlash will be. The video of Will laughing at the joke is quite strange. Jada did not laugh at the joke. Jada, however, did not. I don’t know why he didn’t try the proven techniques to de-escalate Jada. “Calm down, it wasn’t a joke,” “You’re just as your mother; she doesn’t have a sense for humor either.” “Attached to G.I. Jane and not Pepper from American Horror Story, Asylum. Demi Moore is hot. “I’m feeling hungry.” I need you to make me dinner when we get back. I’m kidding. There are better ways to handle situations like this. Smith should have spoken privately with Rock. It is not a good way to send people a message.
