Since its release, the Sig Sauer P365 is a very popular pistol. Its modularity and its size make it a great choice for concealed carry. The P365 comes with a ten-round magazine that is (these days) of low capacity. XTech Tactical has developed the MTX 365 magazine extender, which adds an additional three rounds as well as a pinky extension.

The MTX is constructed of the same glass-filled Polymer as the Sig P365 Frame. It matches the aesthetics and design of the P365 Frame. Texturing on the side panels helps to increase grip and facilitates extraction even when wet.
The extension adds three additional 9mm cartridges, bringing the total capacity of the magazine to thirteen. The MTX is also compatible with both the standard P365 and the Wilson Combat P365 frames.
The MTX features an extended baseplate that supports the pinky to improve grip. You can now change the grip length on your P365 to that of the P365X/XL, without having to upgrade to the XL frame. You can also easily switch to a smaller size by swapping the magazine with the ten-round.

The MTX 365 installation is simple and does not require any special tools or modifications. The extension slides on the bottom of the magazine, and is secured in place by a locking tab. It uses a specially engineered 17-7 stainless spring to ensure maximum reliability and hold the last round bolt open.
The MTX is only able to be used with the 10-round factory magazine for the P365 frame standard. It is not compatible 12- or 15 round magazines.
“We set out on a mission to solve a unique problem by making a magazine extension that can hold multiple rounds for the P365. While increasing the magazine capacity was one aspect, there was no solution to allow the shooter maintain a perfect grip while using the standard P365 frame. “When the user wants to shrink the platform, they can simply swap out the magazine instead of swapping the pistol frame,” said Jeremy Deadman Director of Sales and marketing for XTech Tactical.
