Today’s episode features Hornady’s Zombies at the Heartland multi-gun match. This popular three-gun shoot is held in Nebraska. The Zombie Match was held in June and attracted hundreds of shooters across the country. The match is not restricted to top-tier multi-gun shooters. There are divisions for novice shooters, including those who are first learning to shoot with a pistol, rifle, or shotgun. SHOW TIMES – This Shooting USA Episode airs Wednesday August 17, 2022 at 9:00 pm Eastern and Pacific; 8:00 pm Central. The show can be streamed on Vimeo for $0.99 each episode if you miss the regular broadcast. The 10-stage 3-gun match was challenging and fun. Shooters were kept busy with a variety of zombie targets that could be used as reactive targets. Shooters could choose from a variety of reactive zombie targets.
Hornady hosts the popular Zombies in the Heartland every year. This 3-gun fun match, known as “Pandemic”, was held June 3-5, 2022 at Grand Island’s Heartland Public Shooting Park. The Zombies in the Heartland match has a rich prize pool of over $150,000. The Pandemic is a fun shooter’s paradise with many stages and innovative targets. This match has many unique, reactive zombie targets. It’s been reduced to “bang and clang” by avoiding the use of paper targets. This year, there were ten multi-gun stages. Most stages can be used with shotguns, pistols, and rifles. Fun side-matches were also held.
